About Brent
Brent Webster has served as the First Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas since 2020. Prior to that role, Mr. Webster worked as a civil litigator, a criminal prosecutor, and criminal defense attorney in private practice for over 10 years. He is licensed to practice law by the state of Texas and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court and federal district courts in the Western, Southern, and Northern districts of Texas. Personally, as a supporter of International Justice Mission, Mr. Webster is passionate about combatting human trafficking.
Mr. Webster received his law degree at the University of Houston Law Center in 2005, and his undergraduate degree at Southwestern University. He resides in Central Texas with his wife and four children.
